Also known as a Homebuyer survey, RICS Home Survey – Level 2 is a survey and inspection of the easily accessible parts of the property. As an RICS surveyor Tony will look for obvious signs of damage that are serious, could affect the property value, or are even dangerous. Unlike with a Level 3 survey, the structural integrity of the property is not investigated in detail nor are small wear and tear issues. The home buyer survey is not tailored to your property but the reports are easy to follow and understand and this is recommended for relatively new homes that are conventionally built and appear to be in good condition.
